While our London Studio is getting off the starting blocks for the Olympics, our UAE Studio is preparing for the holy month of Ramadan: People fast from food and drink from sun rise to sun set  and the atmosphere is very spiritual. It is a time when friends and families get together.

It's official: The iPad 3D is a SUPER MODEL!

The iPad 3D Interactive Model that we produced for Manchester Airport City has been selected for the 'superMODELS' exhibition in Liverpool!

A contemporary take on the traditional architects' model, the iPad 3D enables users to understand the various product categories and associated benefits through the use of an animated, back lit presentation. This innovative, flexible and cost-effective use of technology brings Airport City to life in a format easily transported and controlled by users.

Architectural models have always held a key role in the communication of architecture, whether utilized as a medium to explore design ideas or in the marketing of large scale regeneration projects. Despite the advent of sophisticated computer modelling software, architectural models continue to captivate and intrigue both professionals and the general public in equal measure.

Arab Film Studio Awards

We love a good night out and the Arab Film Studio Awards was no exception! The awards were held at the prestigious Yas Viceroy Hotel on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi on Wednesday night. We had already carried out the print and identity work for the Film Studio and we were thrilled to be asked to work on the branding for the event itself. It's The Final Countdown (to London 2012)!

With the Olympics just around the corner, both geographically and temporally, we thought it would be a great time to show some of the CGIs we have produced for the Olympic Park legacy masterplan. We were commissioned to produce a series of four images, giving an indicative flavour of what the new neighbourhoods that are due to be built in the Olympic Park as part of the legacy plan may look like. Designs were not confirmed at the time of producing the images, so we worked creatively alongside our client to give a sense of what the neighbourhoods might look like, in terms of building type and feel.
