Assembly Studios Joins Recommended Agency Register!

Yay - thanks to some great client reviews, we are pleased to announce that we have joined the Recommended Agency Register. Agencies qualify through favourable client reviews, ensuring that those businesses using the register to find a creative agency reduce risk by selecting from a pool that is already highly recommended by the marketing community.

Arab Film Studio Awards

We love a good night out and the Arab Film Studio Awards was no exception! The awards were held at the prestigious Yas Viceroy Hotel on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi on Wednesday night. We had already carried out the print and identity work for the Film Studio and we were thrilled to be asked to work on the branding for the event itself. It's The Final Countdown (to London 2012)!

With the Olympics just around the corner, both geographically and temporally, we thought it would be a great time to show some of the CGIs we have produced for the Olympic Park legacy masterplan. We were commissioned to produce a series of four images, giving an indicative flavour of what the new neighbourhoods that are due to be built in the Olympic Park as part of the legacy plan may look like. Designs were not confirmed at the time of producing the images, so we worked creatively alongside our client to give a sense of what the neighbourhoods might look like, in terms of building type and feel.

Assembly Studios on The Culture Show!

If any of you watched the Culture Show special 'Into Orbit' about the Anish Kapoor and Cecil Balmond Olympic Park Orbit sculpture then you will have seen some archive CGI work by Assembly Studios! Our moment of glory, pictured above, is 12 minutes in. Recently we have also completed a set of new images for the Olympic Park Legacy Company which we should be able to show you later this week...

Assembly Makes Finals of Digital Innovation Contest 2012

On 16th May, Assembly Studios' Head of Interactive, Andy Bacon, attended the final of the Digital Innovation Contest at the Design Museum. We were selected from a large pool of applicants to present our idea in the 'SPACE mobile network for supporting emerging artists' category. Sadly, we didn't win on the day, but it was a great experience and the perfect opportunity to rub shoulders with some like-minded industry professionals! You can watch Andy's entry video below.
